The Wknd Sessions : What is it?

The Wknd Sessions is a weekly online music and interview show that brings you closer to the forefront of the fast-growing Malaysian music scene. From independent singer-songwriters to big-name bands, hear what inspires, tickles, and makes these emerging songsters tick and talk. Then catch them as they do exclusive performances for The Wknd Sessions. The Wknd Sessions also has it's own website, containing more videos of performances and also and interview session (www.the-wknd.com).

The Wknd Sessions : Who is behind it?

• Fikri Fadzil is a multimedia designer by trade, where he helps run Bright Lights At Midnight, a graphic design / multimedia studio based in TTDI. Graduated in Bachelors of Multimedia (Business Marketing) from Swinburne University in Melbourne, Fikri has been active in the local independent music scene since he was 15 with his band Blister (not the one from Blast Off).
  
  
• Ali Johan, a graduate from HELP University College with a degree in marketing, is an active member of the local independent music scene. Enjoying life before joining the work force, Ali Johan is currently a drummer for Killeur Calculateur and Lucy In The Loo.
  
  
• The Wknd Sessions is made possible by the dedicated team of volunteers consisting of Hana Abdul Aziz, Didi Ramlan and Adely Adnan.
